Flexural Reinforcement of Over-Reinforced Beam by Ultrahigh Performance Concrete Layer

چکیده

In order to improve the failure state of over-reinforced beams and enhance their ductility, an innovative reinforcement method was proposed by adding ultrahigh performance concrete (UHPC) layer on top surface beam take advantage high compressive strength UHPC. The numerical simulation used carry out research. validity finite element model verified comparing it with experimental results, effectiveness new calculation results after UHPC layer. Then, a detailed parameter study carried out, including thickness layer, cross-section area longitudinal tension rebar, strength. load-deflection curve, flexural bearing capacity, deflection ductility coefficient were studied. show that capacity UHPC-reinforced is significantly increased 88.1%. And stiffness are also increased, reaching 23.85. addition, increases sectional rebar. Finally, prediction for layer-reinforced proposed, which further verifies this method.
